About me
Will Fox is the Artistic Director of the growing and re-shaped SenateAires Chorus in Salem, OR, which just won the Evergreen District Division II Contest in March with 30 men on the risers, after a 7-year hiatus from competition. He also helped lead the chorus into a couple of International appearances and a District Championship in 2018. Will was hired as the Director during COVID and he and his circle of chorus leaders have slowly and methodically reshaped this storied chorus into a positive, thriving, high-level singing, entertaining, community-serving ensemble that has many followers saying, "The SenateAires are back!"
Will has also won numerous quartet awards with One Man Short, Adult Supervision, and Sweet Sauce.
He also teaches and directs an award-winning music department at Westside Christian High School in Portland, Oregon. Will's choirs have won 17 out of the past 18 Oregon State Choir Championships, including another just last month, and his Concert Band has won 4 state championships in its young life as a competing band!
His varsity chamber ensemble, Soli Deo Gloria - which sings chamber, vocal jazz, pop, and barbershop charts - won the CCC Jazz Festival this spring, and placed 2nd among 19 comparatively huge schools in the Oregon State Chamber Ensemble Championships on May 1st. Last year, Soli captured 1st place at the BHS Midwinter Convention Junior Chorus Contest!
Also, Mr. Fox's student quartet, Public Noise Complaint, has strung together a number of accomplishments this year! The group just won 1st place at the Oregon State Contemporary Vocal Ensemble Championship on May 1st. PNC finished 6th at January's BHS Midwinter Junior Quartet contest in Pasadena, and the students joined BHS and finished 4th at the EVG District Division II Quartet Contest in March! .
