“By the end of these three sessions, you’ll be able to enter a melody, build it into a 4-part arrangement, and export learning tracks to share with singers.”

🔵 MUSESCORE 3 — Polishing with the Barbershop Workspace
🎯 Goal:  “I can prepare a clean, usable arrangement for sharing or submission.”
This class will cover:
  • Imploding
    • Understanding Voices (crucial for barbershop)
    • Voice 1 vs Voice 2 on same staff (Tenor/Lead or Bari/Bass situations)
  • BBS Workspace / BHS palettes
    • What they are
    • Why they save time (don’t over-explain setup)
  • Adding Lyrics
    • Syllable alignment
    • Hyphenation
    • Multiple verses (light intro)
  • Basic formatting:
    • System spacing
    • Readability for singers
  • Submitting to BHS
    • High-level overview only
    • What “ready” means (not perfection)
✅ Success Moment
Your score will be ready to hand out in rehearsal.
