About me
My passion is in bringing equity to the almost 700,000 children who attend a school in rural CA. I work with leaders to align their mission, vision, and goals with their BUDGET, curriculum, instruction, and assessment. This frequently includes providing onsite, in classroom, ongoing support for teachers in all grades and content areas using the “I do” (I model a lesson), “We do” (we co-teach a lesson), “You do” (I coach the teacher through the lesson) method. Additionally, I am the inaugural CA Delegate to the National Rural Education Association (NREA), the premier group of rural administrators in the country. As such, I advocate for rural students both in Sacramento and Washington DC. This is a volunteer position meaning I donate my time and resources in support of rural students in our state.
